University of Alabama in Huntsville senior David Gray, 32, was honored with the first Gopi Podila Memorial Scholarship on Sept. 14, 2011. Gray, a non-traditional student, is expected to receive his bachelor’s degree this spring. Gray was nominated for the scholarship by Leland Cseke, Ph.D., a professor at UAHuntsville specializing in plant molecular biology.
